Made in Manchester
We are made in Manchester,
We are spun from hope,
We are a city united forever,
Braided into a single rope.
Each thread is corded tightly,
And spans the strands of our voices.
The fibre of our soul sweeps
Along every road and street and pathway.
We may speak in a thousand tongues,
But none will dare divide us;
We will always be too strong,
Because we are truly one.
